Great Barrier Reef and Sydney with Dad

Having my dad come and visit me in Sydney was such a great gift. It truly was a great experience to share the city that I had been living in with him. I took him all around and he was so impressed how well I knew the city. We also went to the Great Barrier Reef, which was spectacular. Both my dad and I are big sailers and we went sailing together in Sydney Harbor as well as the Great Barrier Reef. One of my favorite moments with him was snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef and seeing the how amazing it was. This was definitely a once in a life time experience and I am glad I got to spend it with my dad. It was a great way to end my trip to Australia and I hope to one day go back and spend more time there. Living and working there was such an unbelievable experience and I will never forget it.

Bridge Climb and Sky Diving

Sky Diving and climbing the Harbor Bridge of Sydney was an unforgettable experience and something that I will always remember. When I was planning my trip to Sydney I knew these were two things I had to do before I had to leave. Sky Diving is something I had always wanted to do and I finally accomplished it. Jumping from the plane I was not scared at all surprisingly. I was more excited and pumped up than anything and couldn't wait to fly through the air. The Harbor Bridge Climb is on the top 10 things to do in the world and when I found out I could climb to the top of that incredible structure, I signed up right away. The Harbor Bridge is something that everyone has to experience. It was the best feeling in the world when I got to the top to watch the sunset. The view was amazing and I hope to go back and do it again someday.

Excursion to the Blue Mountains

Going to the Blue Mountains was so much fun and a great way to bond with the people I was with. We went repelling down multiple large cliffs and this is something that I had done before. I love to hike and rock climb so when I heard that we were going to be repelling down the cliffs I was so excited. The view from the top of these large cliffs and mountains was incredible. This was a great weekend get away and I got to explore something that I might never see again.

4th of July Sydney Style

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays and always has been since I was a little girl. My home town goes wild for the 4th and has been a tradition in my family to spend it together. Recently, in the past years I have not been home for this amazing holiday so I've been starting my own traditions. Spending the 4th in Sydney was so much fun and we went out in traditional American style. I had a great, but a very different 4th of July this year, but it is something to look back on and always remember. Every 4th of July is different and I can't wait to see where I'll end up next 4th of July.

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is a very popular and beautiful beach in Sydney. It is very popular for surfers and for is incredible cliff walk that goes from Bondi Beach to Congi Beach. It's about 4 miles and take about 2 hours to do. This was one of my favorite things to do while I was in Sydney. I also, went surfing at Bondi Beach as well as just relax on the beach. It was their winter in Sydney so when it finally got up to 75 degrees I went right to the beach and pretended it was summer. This was my place to escape and have my own time away from the city and everyone I was with. I loved going here and sometimes I imagine my self still there laying on the white sand with the wind in my hair. People thought I was crazy for going by my self but it was one of my favorite moments that I had to my self.

A Walk Along the Harbor

One day I decided to walk down along the Harbor and go from Darling Harbor to Circle Que. This was a pretty long walk but it was such a beautiful day out and I couldn't help myself. As a stood underneath the Harbor Bridge I was able to look at it from another perspective and I thought it was unique. Most people don't take the time to look at it from underneath it and this was my favorite walking paths to go on in downtown Sydney. As you walk under the bridge you get a great view of the Opera House, which on this day looked extremely beautiful. Sydney is such an amazing place and I wish I could go back now and be their for the summer time.

IVY Night

Ivy night was one of my favorite nights in Sydney. We all got dressed up and went out to one of the most exclusive and expensive clubs in the city. We had so much fun and the atmosphere was so alive and real. The room decor was beautiful and unique. Each floor had its own theme and in the end it was just a really good night. I had so much fun with everyone.

A Day at the ZOO

Koala Bears are my favorite animals and when we went to the Zoo I was in heaven. I also loved the Kangaroos; they were so playful and fun. I felt like I was a little kid again playing with all the animals. I got to hold a Koala and it was so cute and sleepy. We also go to feed the Kangaroos and they loved the attention. All the animals were so much fun and I'm so glad I got to experience it.

Beautiful Sydney

Sydney is by far a beautiful and amazing city. I was so fortunate that I was able to live and work there for two months. I had the time of my life and I will always remember it. I hope to someday go back and maybe even live there for sometime. I just felt so at home there and the people were so friendly. I can honestly say that I have experienced a totally different environment and I learned so much from it.
